but compared to prior reviews it was disappointing. The room was not ready, even an hour after our stated arrival time. We were late for dinner because just before a refreshing shower we found the shower hadn't been cleaned - can you say pubic hair. Oh and it turns out that the advertised Free Continental Breakfast at all Guest House inns - actually only is available for groups (or so we were told...

clunky elevator, Andy Gumps for male users in the lobby. (yes there was a remodel underway we were told...)

Room Decor was bit ragged for the price... We might not have been so disappointed - cause it was cheap... but based on the reviews we expected much more.

The location was convenient and the price was very good. on the flip side, the bed was very hard and so not comfortable for me and the TV was fuzzy and had limited channels. Overall, for the money it was acceptable.

Well, it ain't the Ritz but it's clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker, a blow drier and iron in the room. TV cable selections are limited. The dining room breakfast was good and well-priced (not many restaurants nearby). All the staff were courteous and friendly. Noise was not an issue.but some rooms may be quieter than others. I didn't see any evidence of the bugs others reported. As for location - it is sort of central but LA is pretty spread out so you're going to have to have a car if you stay here. It's in Norwalk, not LA, if you Mapquest it.

It's really more of a decent motel than a hotel.

Good value; I'd stay here again.
