Value for money, cleanliness, warm and friendly hospitality, nice service; it fully met my expectations.
Area for improvement: mattress a bit worn out, particular on the sides; need to be replaced
Travellers should be aware that there is no elevator in the hotel. Carrying heavy luggages to 2nd or 3rd floor could be a challenge. Hotel staff was kind enough to help out with a couple of pieces of luggage out of the 4 that we brought for the family.

My husband and I were on our way back to the U.S. from our vacation in Italy and had a one night layover in London. I chose the hotel for its location, price, and reviews. Location was great. Close to Trafalgar Square, Parliament, Big Ben, etc., but a bit of a walk from Victoria Station, especially with luggage. Price was OK I guess as we had nothing to compare it to. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and perfect for an overnight stay...we only used it for six hours. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The MAJOR drawback was no elevator. We had to carry two large, 40lb suitcases plus hand carried bags up (and down) four flights of very narrow stairs...this after trudging through multiple Underground stops (all stairs) and walking to the hotel. We were exhausted. Pack light for this hotel and expect a workout.
