The Bulfinch is a boutique hotel- the rooms are very cozy. Do not expect a huge room as you will be disapponted and should search for another hotel. The staff was overly friendly and quite helpful. Very close to T stations and in walking distance to everything. Would stay here again.

The room was decked out pretty nice, and the staff was excellent. The location is great-1 block from the subway, and walkable to the Italian section, freedom trail, and irish bar area.

It was a good value for the money. It was the cheapest hotel I could find in Boston that didn't look dingy and scary. I was very impressed with how clean and updated it was. For the price, I was expecting a lot lower in quality. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The only thing is that the room was very small and the doors/walls are somewhat thin. But aside from that, I didn't find anything that would make me avoid this hotel in the future. I will look to see if this hotel is cheapest when I am looking to stay in Boston again. The room smelled slightly of smoke, and although we are non-smokers, we didn't request another room. The bed was a nice size. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Great location for North End, Irish Pubs, wonderful customer service, very clean, bed was so comfortable we looked to see the brand and went out and bought the same mattress.

the hotel staff were exceptional. The room however was stuffy, dated and poorly laid out. The internet connection was near the window by the bed, the desk was on the other side of the room. The bathroom was average at best- the toliet had to have the handle held down for 10 seconds to flush. the location was adequate but getting a taxi was difficult.

The restaurant needs work. It is expensive, the staff is inattentive,and the food is just ok. in fact we stopped inthe next night for a drink and heard the staff talking about us.

The hotel was less than 200$ - you get what you pay for.
