Originally built in 1925, this historic hotel features 322 deluxe rooms, including a concierge level with a private lounge. All guest rooms are equipped with oversized desks, data port lines for laptop computers, coffee makers and complimentary coffee, irons and ironing boards, and Bath and Body Works bath amenities. The full service restaurant, Caprice, features Mediterranean cuisine and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel also features a fitness room, lob[hidden] lounge, and two nightclubs. The Tremont Boston is conveniently located in the heart of Boston`s theater district. The hotel is next to the Wang theater, home to such productions as Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Miss Siagon, just to name a few. Many Boston attractions are within walking distance, including Boston Common, Copley Square, and Faneuil Hall, all offering the Boston visitor a diversity of business and leisure activities. Logan International Airport is located just three miles from the hotel. As of September 2006, all Marriott International, Inc. lodging brands in the United States and Canada will be 100% smoke free.
Would recommend it to others. Good value for rate. Very clean, excellent location and friendly staff throughout. Only disappointment was the number (only one worked) and quality (very slow) of the computers available to guests -- hotel is supposedly working on this.

An excellent hotel in most respects. Very good location for getting to everywhere we wanted in the city centre and beyond. Hotel staff extremely helpful and efficient. Room was immaculately clean and well ordered every day. Building works nearby were noisy particularly in the morning and weekends were noisy until early hours as we half expected as we were in the theatre district close to many bars, clubs and restaurants. When we arrived reception questioned our twin room 2 x double beds on the Skoosh booking and tried to insist we had only booked a double! Be wary. They did accommodate us as requested but after some wrangling! We would definitely stay again.

The Marriott Boston Tremont is a nice hotel in a convenient area of downtown Boston (theater district). It's convenient to the major arteries of Boston (highways and subway), and it's within a 20-30 minute walk of most areas of downtown Boston to where you would want to venture (Back Bay, Boston Commons, Beacon Hill, Quincy Market, North End, etc.). I was able to obtain a well below-$200 per night rate through Skoosh, which made this hotel a very good deal. All other sites had this hotel at well over $200 per night. There were other downtown Boston hotels available for under $200, but I believe this Marriott was probably the nicest one. The hotel staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The rooms were clean, quiet, and recently updated. There are many restaurants and bars within 5-6 blocks - 4 star to 1 star.

I stayed at the Courtyard for 4 nights for business purposes, arriving Thursday and checking out Monday morning. The hotel is a quick 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport and only a block from the T station, making it easy to get to anywhere in Boston. The lobby, business center, and actual hotel room were all very clean and well maintained; all staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only downside (which is an issue I have with most hotels) is the ability to hear street noise, particularly police/fire sirens at 3am, even on the 12th floor. That is the only reason why I rank the hotel a 4 rather than a full 5.
The price through Skoosh was amazing, saving me $120 per night off of Hotels.com, Hotwire, or the Marriotts own website!
