now that rennovations have occured in the south tower, This place was worth the price we paid. Fridge and microwave in units,buy groceries at the near by 7-11. Rennovations are still under way in some areas,including lobby,Resturant,pool. Staff were very nice and helpful. Shuttle bus to John Wayne (SNA) airport, only $10.00.Just a reminder, it is a good 15 minute walk to Disneyland.

I would not recommend to others. It was not as close to the park entrance as we had hoped. We saw the reviews warning that the hotel was under construction, but thought since we weren't planning to use the amenities we would be fine. We were wrong. Entrance address sign unlit, hall carpets were stained, tiles in bathroom were cracked around the shower knobs, & shower water wouldn't maintain the temperature or turn off properly. I suppose if we'd stayed in one of the renovated rooms things would have been better, but we were also upset with the restaurant/room service that was advertised in the hotel binder, but was really only open for breakfast. The covers on our room keys also had a 20% off restaurant coupon which was conveniently only available for lunch & dinner (when they were closed). If you're looking for cheap place to sleep, maybe ok.

This hotel is VERY tired. Granted they just started renovating it, but this place should be bulldozed. Threadbare furniture and blankets sum this place up...... Great if you just want a bed and clean bathroom, but that's it.

Everything was exactly as we expected, except that during reservation I was confirmed for a smoking room...only to find out that the entire hotel is non-smoking. This was, of course, not the fault of the hotel, but the company that I made the reservation through. Beware smokers! You have to go out front or back of the hotel to smoke! The hotel waived my $10 a day parking fee (gated lot w/ night security guard) for the inconvenience though when I mentioned it. Very curteous, knowledgeable, and helpful staff! And, the room was great too! There are definitely more expensive hotels within the few blocks surrounding, but I'm pretty sure that this one offered just as much, and for a lot lower cost. The same shuttle service that picks up at those other hotels also comes to this one...and it all costs the same for everyone...no difference there either.
